Ho Ho Ho!

Happy holidays from Scarlett, the Christmas bean. She had a delightful holiday in Idaho, hitting the black diamonds with her uncle Mac, exploring thrift shops for eBay gold with her aunt Michelle, and discussing the virtues of various hunter-jumper breeds with grandma Susie. Love you all!

Superpower summit

After a prolonged scheduling battle between their respective staffs, Minea and Scarlett were finally able to arrange the inaugural Congress of the Cousins. The late-November meeting took place at an undisclosed location in Upstate New York. Talks started off shaky as Scarlett initially refused to acknowledge Minea's supremacy in arithmetic, drawing, and sitting upright. Things were on the verge of falling apart before the two reached breakthrough consensus on a few hot-button issues (thumb vs pacifier, Callas vs Tebaldi, and "yeah, my dad is weird too"). The Scarlett camp was disappointed when Minea's skills-transfer session on potty-training failed to materialize. All in all, the summit was a success and laid the groundwork for future meetings of these great minds.

Flock of Seagulls

It was only a matter of time before it came to this. Scarlett has grown enough hair to begin the time-honored art of sculpting one's coiffure to resemble 80s synthpop musicians. Her parents are very proud.

The Fish Channel

Scarlett is a girl of refined sensibilities, even if based upon the interpretation of limited sensorium. In this segment we see her enjoying her favorite show. Containing a backlit coral reef scene and a rotating transparent scroll decorated with tropical fish, the "Fish Channel" provides hours of monotonous viewing pleasure. Special thanks to great aunt Wendy for the gift that keeps on giving stimulation to a fledgling visual cortex.
